I don't think she's desperate for relevance, more desperate for a hit. If she was confident in her star-power she would of released "4 Minutes" as a solo song. If it flopped, let it flop solo. Same thing with "Give Me All Your Lovin," she's the Queen of Pop, she shouldn't need a featured artist on a song to make it a hit..

Her solo songs in 2008 didn't do well in the U.S compared to the other 2 "legends" Mariah (Touch My Body #1, Bye-Bye top 20 hot 100) and Janet Jackson (Feedback #19 hot 100)
