Disney Channel is going full speed in making use of their production hit High School Musical. The company will broadcast a special version of the High School Musical 2 songs, in multiple languages, that will be broadcast in a special programming on Friday, January 18 at 8 P.M. ET.
Seventeen songs will be performed by recording artists from around the world during the two hours show. The famous 'What Time Is It?' will be sung by Argentinian artists, 'I Don't Dance' by a duo from Portugal, 'Bet on It' by a singer from Taiwan, and 'Every Day' by a singing group from Hong Kong. The music videos have been airing on each country's local Disney Channel.
Further, 'All for One' will feature two different versions, one from Spain and the other from India. Similarly, 'Gotta Go My Way' will be sung by 3 different female singers from France, Mexico and Philippines. The duet 'You Are the Music in Me', meanwhile, will be made in 8 renditions, namely, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Norwegian, Spanish, Turkish, Brazilian, and Argentinian.
The multi-language songs broadcast is only a part of the Disney's special program that day. At 12 noon ET/PT, a sixteen episode marathon of 'Hannah Montana' will run until 8 P.M. and followed by a re-run of 'High School Musical 2' telecast until 10 P.M. In between the 'High School' broadcast, there will be interviews and highlights from the movie's European red-carpet premiere event.
The High School Musical series has been one of the most successful TV programs that Disney Channel has produced. The original cast that includes Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Corbin Bleu and Ashley Tisdale among others have signed to reprise their roles in the big screen, 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year'.
did Arith just say HSM is nothing without the part where Vanessa released Nude Photos about herself. so basically he said HSM is only famous b/c Vanessa should her "junk" ... and So.Uncool admited 2 it... ...
Ashley is preob the best actor/actress of the movie
lmao please.
Lucas doesn't have the range Vanessa has.
That's why in "What Time Is It" Vanessa was given the higher notes to sing.
Lucas is a good singer (second best in IMO).
But even Corbin Bleu himself said that Vanessa is the best vocalist out of the cast so...
