Sit down, get comfortable & have your volume turnt all the way up.
Just look at the high energy, the excitement, the vocals & the movement. I'm not even talking about Beyonce- the crowd is going crazy. This song is amazing live with all its quirks. Of course Beyonce is the centerpiece that takes it to the next level. She basically seems naked in her bodysuit, no spiky costume or prop to draw your attention to her because it's not at all needed. She effortlessly glides across the stage in high heels, jumping in the air & doing kicks & twists. She pumps, jumps, & even makes silly facial expressions, showing how comfortable she is on stage. She doesn't coo over a dance beat but instead goes for a hard-thumping uptempo with a strange mixture of elements that range from rock to hip-hop & even a Jackson 5 sample at the beginning. She solidifies herself as the top dancer in the industry by not only keeping up with her background dancers but matching their energy while she still has to sing & is a little pregnant at the time of this recording. I have never seen a Michael Jackson, Queen Janet, Madonna or Tina Turner deliver so effortlessly and make a flop single seem like a crowd-pleasing smash hit. Despite its chart success or lack thereof, Beyonce can make Run The World (Girls) one of her signature hits based off of the live performances alone. And this is what makes Beyonce the greatest performer EVER- male, female or otherwise.
