Welcome to my Best of 2013!

This will be my first year participating in the event, as I was only able to join ATRL in August 2013. I'll admit, I wasn't actually going to do this originally, but after seeing everyone's lists coming together so nicely, and the reactions from everyone on ATRL, I decided to quickly throw something together... that's why this is so late. Sorry it's a bit of a mess.

Top 100 Songs
Top 20 Albums
Top 15 Artists
Top 10 Rewind Songs

To make my countdowns as fair as possible, I did give myself a few guidelines to follow. The main guideline is that for any song or album to be eligible for appearance on any of my countdowns, it has to have been first released between the dates of November 30, 2012 and November 29, 2013 (sorry Bey Hive!)

In relation to artists, they have to have had a release - whether it be album, single or other - within this same time period. I wanted to give myself a clear period of selection, and I felt that this was the most fair, as anything released in December of 2013 is a bit too late to judge fairly.

For Top 10 Rewind songs, any song is eligible if it was released before the period above (November 30, 2012). This is basically just a collection of my most-listened tracks in 2013 that were not released within the timeframe I've allocated myself.

I will be posting two sets of 5 Top 100 Songs each day for a week, including the Bubbling Under Top 100 Songs. After that, I will start posting 5 Top 100 Songs each day, and after a predetermined amount of time, lower it to 4 Songs per day, then 3 Songs, etc. until the Top 4 songs are revealed one by one.

In between announcements for the Top 100 Songs, I will be announcing Top Albums, Top Artists and Top Rewind Songs in blocks of 5 as well, in order to build even more suspense... where's the fun in revealing everything at once, after all?

Thanks again, especially to those who are liking the graphics. I just kind of threw it together in half and hour, so I wasn't sure how well-received it'd be tbh. But I'm glad people are liking it.

Those expecting Samantha Jade... perhaps you may be on to something... I don't know.
