Over on the Digital Songs chart, we have a new No. 1. Carly Rae Jepsen**'s "Call Me Maybe" jumps two spots to No. 1, selling 293,000 downloads (up 25%). Jepsen performed the track on Sunday night's (May 20) 2012 Billboard Music Awards, which may have aided the song's sales bump. It also rises 9-7 on the Pop Songs airplay chart.

Gotye**'s "Somebody That I Used to Know" (featuring Kimbra**) slips 1-2 with 289,000 (down 10%) and Maroon 5**'s "Payphone" (featuring Wiz Khalifa**) falls 2-3 with 282,000 (down 4%). Nicki Minaj**'s "Starships" flies 6-4 (174,000; up 15%) and fun.**'s "We Are Young" (featuring Janelle Monae**) holds at No. 5 (162,000; down 2%).

Flo Rida**'s "Wild Ones" (featuring Sia**) is up one slot to No. 6 (152,000; up 1%) and Justin Bieber**'s "Boyfriend" is down 4-7 (144,000; down 13%). One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" is stationary at No. 8 (141,000; down 4%), Train**'s "Drive By" motors up 12-9 (109,000; up 19%) and Jennifer Lopez**'s "Dance Again" (featuring Pitbull**) is down 9-10 (107,000; up 3%).

Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" dials up the top spot on the Digital Songs chart in its 13th week while inching to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 with top Digital and Airplay Gainer honors.

Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know," featuring Kimbra, meanwhile, spends a sixth week at No. 1 on the Hot 100.

As it rises 4-2 on the Hot 100, "Maybe" moves to the top of Digital Songs (3-1) with a 25% increase to 293,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. On Radio Songs, the cut bounces 12-9 with a 22% gain to 74 million all-format audience impressions in the May 16-22 tracking week, according to Nielsen BDS. "Maybe" holds at No. 3 on On-Demand Songs with 989,000 on-demand streams (down 2%), according to BDS.

With her Digital Songs coronation, Jepsen is the first woman to send a first entry to No. 1 on the chart since Ke$ha reigned for six weeks beginning Jan. 2, 2010, with "TiK ToK." Prior to Ke$ha, Lady Gaga had been the last female rookie to lead on a first try when "Just Dance" (featuring Colby O'Donis) began a four-week rule the week of Jan. 10, 2009.

Mission, British Columbia, native Jepsen sent "Maybe" No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot Digital Songs chart for four weeks each earlier this year.

With Jepsen having performed "Maybe" Sunday night (May 20) on the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on ABC, the exposure should aid the song's continued retail and radio growth next week. Fellow BBMA performers, including Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood and Usher, could also see gains on next week's charts with their latest titles following their appearances on the festivities.

As Jepsen jumps to No. 2, Gotye's "Somebody" remains atop the Hot 100 for a sixth week and crowns Radio Songs with a 2-1 climb (137 million, up 4%). Fueling its advance on the chart, the song concurrently reaches No. 1 on the Pop Songs and Adult Pop Songs airplay tallies. It remains in charge of Alternative Songs for a whopping 12th frame and Dance/Mix Show Airplay for a third.

As "Maybe" takes over at No. 1, "Somebody" drops 1-2 on Digital Songs (289,000, down 10%), while staying atop On-Demand Songs (1.2 million, down 8%) for a fifth week.

Maroon 5's "Payphone," featuring Wiz Khalifa, slips 2-3 on the Hot 100, pushing 10-6 on Radio Songs (78 million, up 16%) and again bulleting at No. 2 on On-Demand Songs (1 million, up 1%). On Digital Songs, the song falls 2-3 (282,000, down 4%).

Fun.'s "We Are Young," featuring Janelle Monae, descends 3-4 after logging six weeks atop the Hot 100 in March and April, while Nicki Minaj's "Starships" sails back to its No. 5 peak to-date from No. 6 in its 14th week. "Starships" lifts 5-4 on Digital Songs (174,000, up 15%), holds at No. 5 on Radio Songs (99 million, up 4%) and stays at No. 7 on On-Demand Songs (690,000, down 4%).

Flo Rida's "Wild Ones," featuring Sia, dips 5-6 on the Hot 100, while the songs at Nos. 7 through 10 retain their ranks from last week: One Direction's former No. 4 hit "What Makes You Beautiful" (No. 7); the Wanted's No. 3-peaking "Glad You Came" (No. 8); Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend," which reached No. 2 (No. 9 this week); and, Train's "Drive By" (No. 10).
