...Sorry for the thread title, this is about Beyoncé's "4"- but I needed something attention grabbing.
...the moment you've all waited for.
Unlike, Lady GaGa's outrageous promotion schedule, the promotion for Beyoncé's "4" has been decent...but far less than what we've come to expect from the "King B".

Variables
NO HIT SINGLE: Run The World failed to light up the charts and had an extremely dissapointing chart run. BTINH is still gaining its footing, and radio spins have increased but it will peak too late to impact first week sales.
DRIP, DRIP: The CD leaked 3 weeks early, the deluxe tracks leaked a week early, and on top of the CD leaking....
QUESTIONABLE DIRECTION: It became increasing apparent that none of the songs were really mainstream. People expecting the pop sound, or "Sasha Fierce" were sorely disapointed to see that Beyonce bared her soul and switched up the direction of her music this era.
BAD PRESS: From Beyoncé getting booed by the paparazzi or the media rolling with the '4 to Flop?' train, is seems like the bad press could hamper first week sales. The bandwagon effect is MAJOR when buying a CD....if the media makes it seem like no one is buying '4' - then people will hop on that bandwagon.
...However, Beyoncé has strong stans...and we all know single success does not equal CD success. "4" has recieved good reviews thus far.....
So the question is....

HOW MUCH WILL "4" SELL ON ITS OPENING WEEK?
