BABS BATTLING TO THE TOP
Never underestimate Barbra.
Columbia's 74-year-old vocal goddess, thanks to a late-week surge and ticket bundle, looks set to capture the #1 spot on this week's HITS Album Sales Chart with a total in the neighborhood of 150k, while her battle with BMLGR/BMLG's Florida Georgia Line for the Sales Plus Streaming SPS title now appears too close to call, again in the 150k range (streaming plays a minuscule role for these two titles).
RCA's Britney Spears is looking at a third-place finish with approximately 91k sales and 115k SPS.
TOP 15: THAT'S ONE HELL OF A THREE-WAY
MLG's Florida Georgia Line will take the #1 spot on the Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) Chart. Columbia's Barbra Streisand and RCA's Britney Spears are hot on their heels at #2 and #3, respectively, though. On the Album Sales Chart, FGL gets the edge, but Babs looks to be a little too close for their comfort and could still prove to be a late-week game-changer. Brit will also debut in the Top 3 there.

NEW RELEASES: FGL, BABS, BRIT GO BIG
Florida Georgia Line takes the lead for next Friday’s Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) chart. There remains some drama, however, as things look too close to call on the album chart, where FGL and Barbra Streisand (who has a big ticket bundle in play) are separated by less than 5k. Next week’s SPS chart marks the first time in 2016 in which three new releases will debut with over 100k.
Florida Georgia Line (BMLG)
140-150k SPS, 130-135k albums
Barbra Streisand (Columbia)
128-133k SPS, 125-130k albums
Britney Spears (RCA)
105-115k SPS, 90-95k albums
