But the Billboard 200 is the one I look to as it indicates the interest in the artist themselves, their body of work and their music much more than a song. And this is just further proof of her influence and consistency in the industry.
Add to that the fact that her last two releases were anything but conventional (if not brilliantly conceived), with very little promo and a higher asking price. It's very impressive.
Well when she plans her releases based on weeks when NO ONE else is releasing, what do you expect?
She didn't plan the release within weeks. She had that date specifically chosen. It was the same date as a video of DC singing. And when no one is releasing? Drake is releasing soon. Stop being so salty, and just congratulate and move on.
Nawt when she released in the same timeframe where we lost Prince
Right. His work was clearly slaying every chart and she still released the album midway through the tracking period. Same with ST. That poster just sounds bitter. Yeah, she planned to be #1 with 3 and 4 day sales tracking.

You act like Janet and Madonna aren't guilty of the same, not to mention the fact that all three have scared people off from releasing the same week as them.

This. If she was that shook about getting number ones she wouldn't waste valuable tracking days.
