Ok, lately, I've seen many of us (including me) making dumb errors when it comes to our geography. A prime example is this:

Lucky, I'm here to save the day. I officially declare an ATRL Geography Thread. Here, we can talk about countries, mountains, statues; basically anything related to Geography. And don't worry, I passed all my geography tests in grade 9 and 10 (except for that one quiz in 9th grade when I couldn't determine what a general, geotechnical, topographic and thematic map was. :rip)
Honestly, no offense, but, I really feel like Geography isn't an important subject in the US educational system. I know it works different in every state, but literally almost every American I've met doesn't know a thing about countries behind the US border. :shrug:
As someone who lives and is educated in Australia, let me just say that Australia IS a continent. Virtually every teacher I've had in primary school has taught me this, as well as my eight and ninth grade teachers. Thank you!

Which is why we need to make it important in the US education system. I live here but all my geography is self-taught since like 2nd grade, when I learned that North and South America are continents, not just parts of the US
