I grew up off 90s R&B, thats all my mom would play around the house.

I remember my mom used to have the biggest Cassette & CD collection.
TLC, Usher, Mariah, Brandy, Monica, Destiny's Child, Brian McKnight, 702, Xscape, Tatyana Ali, En Vogue, Earth, Wind & Fire ... my moms had it all lol.

R&B in the 90s SLAYS the hell out of the R&B music today without question!!! This thread is making me depressed at the landscape of R&B today....goes to play the epic CrazySexyCool album to cheer me up.

I personally think Usher peaked with the Confessions album, but his younger years and sound were awesome.
