Im not on any side but I agree with the idea of Black Lives Matter

I support BLM I feel ALM was only created afterwards in distasteful response to BLM and usually has been used to deflect from the issues BLM are addressing.

ALM would have never have been a thing without BLM coming about. ALM is just an ignorant response trying to deflect everyone away from the issues that need to be addressed.

What I will say is that BLM is creating a hell of a lot of problems right now. Who would've thought that a simple hashtag would get millions of people so flustered.

AllLivesMatter seems racist in all honesty because the tone is usually "defensive" as a Puerto Rican I have to side with all BlackLivesMatter since they are targeted more

BLM isn't saying that they're the only lives that matter, but that blacks are being killed for no reason & that is the reason for the hashtag.

BLM tbh. I'm not black, but I understand why BLM must come first before ALM, because obviously BL don't matter now. no equality until we're all equal

I don't understand why people aren't getting the concept of Black Lives Matter. What they are trying to say is that obviously all lives matter but CURRENTLY black people are being targeted by cops and there is other racial injustice happening thus the "Black Lives Matter" movement.

But I feel like the BLM movement is slowly and eventually going to turn into a hate group. Mark my words.

I agree with the second option the most. I understand that in our society black lives matter less than other lives. Until police brutality and systemic racism are thing of the past the need to proclaim that Black Lives Matter over others lives that are treated with privilege is important and necessary.

What bugs me is that if I believe and say that all lives matter I'd be looked at like a racist or ignorant. Am I not allowed to believe that all lives matter separate to the BLM movement but still support the movement itself. The fact that it feels almost forbidden to proclaim that is so strange to me. As if it were a bad thing.

I just tried to had a discussion with someone who was like AllLivesMatter and there was no point to BLM. He tried to tell me that we're not in the KKK era anymore and I was like

I don't get how you discount the struggles that black people are currently facing just because things are a bit better than they were in the past.
