THE TASTE

Face it: we all think our playlists are better than the next person's. Now comes the time to put your ears to the test!

Each round, a certain genre of music or recording artist will be chosen. Every contestant must then find a song they think is the best, and provide a critique telling why.

At the results reveal, one or more contestants with the worst song choice and/or explanation will be eliminated. But things aren't over just then!

When only 3 remain, the rest of the cast will vote for who they believe should be in the finals. Once decided, the top 2 must, from their selections over the course of the game, create a short mixtape.

A "mixtape survivor" , with open voting to all, will commence. The player with the last song standing will prove that they have The Taste!

I was going to fly solo, since I'm quite impartial and because of the nature of the challenges (having to having to explain your choice). However , I am now considering bringing in guest judges and cycling through them over the course of the game. That sounds fun , no?
