Canadian crooner Michael Buble has created ARIA Album Chart history with his ‘Christmas’ album reaching #1 on the ARIA album chart for a staggering third consecutive year – becoming the only album to accomplish such an achievement.
“Australia, you certainly know how to make this Canadian feel special! It's truly an honour to know that so many of you are sharing moments with my music at this special time of year. Have yourself a Merry Christmas down under,” says Bublé of the achievement.
Michael Bublé’s ‘Christmas’ has now reached 10x Platinum sales in Australia and has proven it to be Australia’s favourite stocking filler come the festive season.
In 2011 Buble spent five weeks at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart when he debuted his ‘Christmas’ album. In 2012 Michael followed this up by spending four more weeks at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart.
Michael Bublé’s ‘Christmas’ includes such classics as ‘White Christmas’ with a guest appearance by fellow Canadian Shania Twain, ‘Jingle Bells’ (with the Puppini Sisters), ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’, and ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’. Also included in the album is Bublé penned original ‘Cold December Night’.
