After her presentation about the production process of 1989, Taylor Swift was officially inducted into Nashville's chapter of the Producers & Engineers Wing. They said they were very inspired by her presentation and that it was a breath of fresh air. They also informed her that she has enough production credits under her name to be inducted, so they did just that. Mind you, some of Nashville's best were present in that room.

The producers and Engineers wing addresses various aspects of issues facing the recording profession. They also support music and recording arts education. The P&E Wing also advocates for the use of professional usage of recording technology as well as the preservation of recordings.
The members of this division make up a large portion of those who vote on the Grammy Awards each year.
