After her long hiatus, Fergie cameback with a very bad single choice... Milf Money... besides being a very suggestive title, the song is corny and tacky.
But after a hurricane comes the rainbow... And Life Goes On came.. but is flopping harder than everything, even the song being a very cute song...
I think Milf Money hurted Fergie's image, the song, the MV and everything just went wrong and the GP just skipped her after that Milf thing..
How? It was basically an adult version of Fergalicous and went top 40 which is impressive considering her age and how her peers from TD era (Nelly, Gwen etc.) are doing now
No. It was actually a great career revival. It was loud, attention grabbing, didn't sound like anything else (LA Love and the new song wish) and didn't take itself too seriously. What ruined her comeback is the complete silence after MILF and how the follow-up is a pretty generic, mundane song released during the radio freeze.

It did, for me at least. I felt like Fergie was selling out for a quick viral hit. She had a song like Ain't it Nuttin, which SCREAMS Fergie, and she went with THAT abomination of a song?
I lost respect for her after that song tbh. I still love her and her music, and I wish she would go back to making music that represents her as an artist.
