It's so amazing how our fields are paid well in the market.
I'll be starting out as an entry level IT analyst with $60,000/year salary, but after 1 - 2 years of experience, I'll be moving up to $75,000.
In all honesty though, development is still where the billions are.
Snapchat worth $16b in only 3 years.. while security firms aren't even worth that much after 15 years.. I believe Herjavec Group is the biggest private security company there is, and it's not even worth more than $500M even after nearly two decades.
Full stack development with MEAN or LAMP or Django + SQL is overly paid too... I found out one time that 2 years worth of experience with this already pays $160,000.
