I am currently reading the vampire series by Anne Rice. I read Dracula last summer and someone told me that the only other really good vampire books were the Anne Rice ones. I have to say they were right.
So far I have read... Queen of the Damned, Interview With a Vampire and The Vampire Lestat.

Also currently reading the House of Night series by PC and Kristen Cast. Waiting for the next one, they aren't great literature but they are easy to become absorbed in.

I have a huge stack of books to get through at the moment, I keep buying them in little second hand books stores and now have so many I don't know when I'll get to read them.

My favourite books of the last few years by far are Dracula by Bram Stoker and The Life of Pi by Yann Martel

I also love anything by Patricia Cornwell, PC Cast, Terry Pratchett and Paul Stewart with Chris Riddell.

I adore some Stephen King but a lot of it is just downright weird.
