YES. I fell in love at first sight/listen. The whole world didn't know what was coming. She was massive & she's still the biggest popstar on the planet. She's truly an icon & she's just getting started. To answer the question though, yes. She has the most successful debut of the decade (& maybe even a bigger timespan). She was everywhere. It was a flawless era & it definitely deserved all of the success that it got. Even if other people have her beat by numbers/sales/charts/awards, nobody can touch her when it comes to natural fame. Her name rings a bell in everyone's ears. I'll never forget "The Fame". It built one of the biggest fan bases of all time as well. Nobody can top it. Flawless.
