Procrastination is your new best friend presents...


Hello ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to my third Best of countdown here on ATRL. It's been a year full of many different experiences in both personal and musical aspects. At some point of this year I thought time was moving up really fast (by June I had almost 200 new songs); I met lots of new people; I became a peruvian citizen (18 years old) and got a job in what I like the most; I listened to amazing pop albums, as well as amazing rock albums, and the list goes and goes on.

It is a pleasure for me to be here. It is fantastic that countdown makers all around the world have their moment to shine, making December and January the best time of the year!

As mentioned in this blog posted two days ago. I will present the following countdowns.

• Top 20 of years 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 (Tomorrow)
• Top 10 albums (Albums up to two years old are accepted)
• Top 300 frustrated songs of 2011 (Songs 400-101; singles and non-singles allowed)
• Top 10 favorite members (It may include a honorable-mention section)
• Top 100 of 2011 (Singles and non-singles allowed)

P.S. It is worth mentioning that some parts will be exclusively posted in Spanish, such as the comments for my Top 50 songs of this year, while some others will be exclusively in English.

I also expect to have more comments than last year's Best of, and I know we will make it possible! My musical tastes are really wide, but I tend to have preferences for soft, very melodic sounds, as well as songs with great drums.

That being said, I can say that I am ready. The question here now is :

It's about time.

Love that you're going to do a Top Past Singles list also, along with that just plain massive TOP 400. I listened to more songs than I have in years (and my top 100 is going to reflect that), but I just couldn't ever do a top 400, even if I listened to almost every single released by every artist. The fact that you were able to do so is remarkable and has me QUITE excited.

And that is one of the reasons why I thought this year went too fast back in June. I listened to an amount of songs SO big that it was unbelievable.

Less than 24 hours left for the first set. I really, really hope we reach the second page by the time that happens.
