Well........... I'm honestly not entirely sure what you meant by the last part, but assuming you're 18, try going to a gay club and meeting people. Gays are both very welcoming and very rude, so in the midst of all the bitchy queens you're bound to find some nice people who would want to be friends with you.
Could potentially also be a good 'experience' for you in some other aspects, depending on how open you are.
Also the straight guy convos are really boring. It's always about girls, cars or stuff like that. and gets really unbearable after some time.
