What about at the top of the page though, was it edited to look real?

Google cache says this is a snapshot of the page as it appears TODAY, not in 2010. Someone would have to create an account on the forum, view the thread and verify that it hasn't been edited (therefore the admins would have to be contacted or someone would have to log in with the admin account to verify the entire history of that thread to be absolutely sure, since admins can edit things and make it look like that is how it was originally sometimes).
