Charlie's Angels reboot axed after just four episodes

They pulled out all the stops - including a girl on girl kiss - in a bid to boost ratings.
But the new rebooted TV series Charlie's Angels has been axed after just four episodes.
Representatives for the ABC network confirmed the news today.
The cancellation comes after the show suffered a drop in 3 million viewers over the past month.
Charlie's Angels premiered on ABC last month to a modest 8.76m viewers. By the second week it had dipped to 7.11m, falling to 5.93m by episode three.
While last night's episode 'Bon Voyage, Angels' had a slight rise in ratings, bumping up to 5.96m viewers from last week's 5.93m, it seems to have failed to save the ill-fated show.
The network says that four more episodes will still be aired in the next few weeks.
It's ABC's first cancellation of the new fall season.
I'm not surprised. I knew this show wasn't going to last. Maybe this should give Hollywood a reality check that most reboots/remakes on TV shows don't work. Look at V and Melrose Place. 90120 would have been canceled a long time ago if it wasn't on the CW. The only remake TV show that is doing well is Hawaii Five O.
Now CBS wants a remake Bewitched... which is a sitcom.
