One second Lana fans are singing the tune of "She's an Indie artist she doesn't make music for the charts so of course she's not going to top them!" and then when she (rarely) does top a chart, instead of coming to the logical realisation that she does in fact make basic pop music for public consumption, they completely change their tune to "Yaaas slay the mystical alt queen has always been on top slaying with her out of the box bops!"
Human behaviour is so interesting. I should take up sociology.
