Of course he does, it's just not as obvious (kind of like with POM's initial debut). Everyone uses payola for a debut single nowadays. It's how you get people to buy the song now that the music business is plummeting.

No, he doesn't. I doubt Part of Me did, either. It only had one truly strong day, and it wasn't adequately strong to be a result of a deal. It certainly wasn't advertised by stations the way Born This Way, GMAYL, YDO and Dance Again were.

On the other hand, a few major stations that he visited of course played the song several times the first day. But, they haven't stopped playing it.

We have never seen a radio deal longer than 3 days, so I doubt it. In addition, we've never seen AI fluctuate wildly AND go up during the first days of release like his.

+9M, +5M, +7m, +8M, +9M were basically his first 5 updates.

Whether he has a deal will become obvious when the rolling effect comes into play.
