Beyoncé rejected Coldplay collaboration
Beyonce Turned Down Song Written By Coldplay's Chris Martin
16th November 2011, 16:11
The band's frontman has revealed that he missed out on collaboration with 'Countdown' singer.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has revealed that he wrote a song for Beyonce but the track was rejected by her record label.
Chris spoke about the track when asked about how his collaboration with Rihanna on the band's new album 'Mylo Xyloto' came about.
"Well, I did write a song for Beyonce, but it got rejected by her A&R people. And the one I wrote for Rihanna didn't get rejected," he said.

I mean, maybe the track was **** or just didn't mesh with the album. I''m pretty sure she wouldn't do that for no reason.

Newly released “Princess of China” features superstar Rihanna which Chris “thought would be great to ask Rihanna to sing. Of course, being English,
it took us about a year to not be too ‘Hugh Grant-ish’ and embarrassed to ask!
