Chris Brown Denies New Tat Depicts Rihanna's Face
Singer's rep explains that 'sugar skull' neck tattoo emulates MAC Cosmetics ad.

Chris Brown's latest piece of ink has been the subject of lots of speculation on Tuesday (September 11) and had some fans wondering just what Brown's latest tattoo is supposed to resemble.
The ink on Brown's neck is of a woman's face with strange markings on it. Brown's rep has issued a statement to respond to the allegations that the image is of his pop star ex, Rihanna. "His tattoo is a sugar skull [associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead] and a MAC cosmetics design he saw," the rep tells TMZ. "It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported."
The photo of the tat in question was taken in Las Vegas over Labor Day weekend, but it managed to go under the radar until now.

Rihanna also made some tat-related headlines this week when she debuted her latest eye-catching piece of body art. Rihanna got the tat over the weekend while she was in London for the Paralympics Closing Ceremony. It shows Egyptian goddess Isis and is located under her breasts. Posting a topless photo of herself on Twitter, she explained that the ink is an homage to her late grandmother. She wrote, "Goddess Isis- Complete Woman - Model for future generations- #GRANGRANDOLLY - always in and on my heart #1love."
Brown and Rihanna made headlines last week when they exchanged a hug during the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards last Thursday. The embrace took place after Rih took the stage to accept her Moonman for Video of the Year for her "We Found Love." The moment immediately went viral.
Last month, Rihanna appeared on Oprah Winfrey's OWN show, "Oprah's Next Chapter" sharing that the singer was the "love of my life" and that they remain "very close." However, she shot down rumors that they had begun dating again. "He's in a relationship of his own. I'm single, but we have maintained a very close friendship," she said. "We've just worked on it little-by-little. And it's not easy."
