EH? Most Presidential Polls use about 1k people and they are usually accurate. It's not really the amount of people they poll determines whether or not the poll is representative of the country. The 571 people polled is made up of the same % of white, black, hispanic, etc that's in America. In polls you don't want to oversample or undersample as well. Not really the size, but it's really based on the correct method. Political Science 101. And PPP is a scientific polling agency that has been doing this for a while, I'm sure they know what they're doing.
