Welcome guys to my second Best Of countdown! I had an amazing time doing 2013, and I'm more than pumped to share my rankings for 2014 and watch all of yours too.

So, maybe I should talk a bit about my music taste and listening habits this year. I felt like there was quite a shift this time round and that I've been listening to a lot more alternative and indie music, things that I would've never bothered about even last year. Maybe it's ATRL's influence, maybe it's my inner wannabe hipster, but that is how my habits are trending towards this year. But then again, I still LOVE my pop. As long as it's fun, catchy and makes me feel good, I love it.

Okay now down to what is to come. I will be doing 3 main countdowns again, but this time they will be expanded as I find myself listening to a whole lot more music this year (for example, last year I had an average of 2/3 songs entering my Top 40 Countdown a week, this year I'm having 5). As such, these are the countdowns...

Along with that, I should be doing some minor countdowns too such as, Top 50 Album Tracks and Top 20 Recurrent Songs. There may be more depending if I manage to think of them.

Also lastly, this will be my last Best Of (though it's just the 2nd) and basically the end of the my Top 40 Countdown too. It's hard to put down something that I've been working on since 2009 but time just won't be on my side for the next 2 years at least. But I bet I will have a blast, if you guys cooperate of course.
