Usher, Spike Lee and Carole King are among the talent who have joined the lineup for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony that will honour a group of artists including iconic Canadian prog-rock outfit Rush. The ceremony on April 18 in Los Angeles will see that Toronto power trio ushered in alongside Heart, Public Enemy, Randy Newman, Donna Summer, Albert King, Quincy Jones and Lou Adler.
Usher will perform on behalf of Jones, Pearl Jam's Mike McCready and Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains will perform with Heart, Lee and Harry Belafonte will honour Public Enemy and King will perform for Adler.
Meanwhile, Jackson Browne and John Fogerty will perform with Newman while Chris Cornell of Soundgarden will induct Heart and comedy duo Cheech & Chong will present the award to Adler.
It was previously announced that Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters would present Rush, while other performers announced prior include John Mayer, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson.
More talent will be announced prior to the show. All public tickets are now sold out.
