This is the descendant of my previous countdown thread which can be found right over here:

(Yes, this is the same banner I used for my Best of 2011. I'm lazy. Go away
)
If you'd like, here's a long essay about what I've been doing in my five month hiatus:

The reason I'm making a new thread for it is because of the following reasons:
1. I haven't updated my last countdown in over four months
2. I've changed from a top 20 countdown to a top 10
The main reason for that is because with the music industry as of late, it really is difficult for me to find twenty songs, plus 5 bubbling-unders, that I find worthy of a countdown. I know it sounds kind of bitchy, but 2012's music--even the rock music--has been inconceivably disappointing.
Anyways, I know it's been a while since I've seen ya'll, so I should probably update ya'll on how my life has been going, entertainment-wise.
Since I last saw you guys, I saw the following bands in concert:
Electric Touch (They were alright. Nothing I'd put on my iPod)
Rival Sons (Talented musicians. Annoying songs after you listen to them for more than five minutes)
Evanescence (So****ingAmazingIWantedToDie)
Ambassadors (Surprisingly great.)
LIGHTS (Glorious. Oh so glorious.)
Title Flight (Takes the cake for worst band I've ever seen live.)
A Day to Remember (Let's just say I felt dizzy by the end of their set from all the ridiculous head-banging I was doing. They were so good ;__; )
Rise Against (Just. So. Freaking. Amazing.)
Damn. I love concerts.
I also saw a lot of films. The Hunger Games lived up to my exceedingly high expectations. Jennifer Lawrence is a flawless creature.
The new Divergent book, Insurgent, was wicked awesome! I also just got the new Mortal Instruments book, City of Lost Souls. I'm about a hundred pages in and absolutely love it!
Halestorm's new album is awesome. The Avengers soundtrack is awesome. (Haven't seen the movie yet. Really want to. I get heart palpitations every time I see the trailer.) Shinedown's new album disappointed me to no end, but I still liked it nonetheless. (It's their weakest, undoubtedly...but they are still my babies; therefore, I still love them.)
Is anyone watching Legend of Korra? I'm kind of obsessed with it currently.
Hmm. What else. Oh! I recently went to FSPA (State competition for Journalism). I competed in review writing and got a 31/36 score on my article.
I've just written ya'll an essay...it's just...it's been a while
