I don't think this is gonna be the next single, tbh. Rep Nashville would've announced something by now. It's spring already, they wouldn't put out a single called "Summer" that would most likely peak in the fall. Unless it gets the IHeartRadio treatment...

It's a great song for current country radio, though.

I don't know how she moved from such great and accessible country-pop of "Wasting All These Tears" and "I Wish I Could Break Your Heart" to the corny "I Am Invincible," really hoping she gets back on track...already digging the title

IMO, it's really fitting for current country radio, it's the generic stuff they like playing this time of year, but it doesn't scream "number one" to me. Top 15 maybe, top 10 if we're lucky. I still don't think this will be the single, though.

There's a RadioTraks survey out right now with 4 new songs for testing and Summer is one of them and honestly, the live version sounds way better, IMO. (the audio is kinda muffled though, so it could be just that)

Kisses in Airports is my favorite by far, but I don't know if it'd be the right thing to send to radio atm. Summer is my second favorite. Turns out the "muffle" was just my crappy headphones lol I got new ones and it sounds fine. Nice production.

If this is the new single it should be released soon or it might peak after summer since its gonna be a slow riser

tbh I'm not sold with "summer" .. I dont think what we have heard sounds like a first single.. I remember being slayed with WATT since she was singing it on fairs and stuff
