8pm EDT: Makes landfall
10pm EDT: Eye is back over water

These storms always hit the poorest and least prepared region of my country (Dom. Rep.).
It's obviously the 3000m+ high mountains in the north create these paths.

Ugh, this played with Puerto Rico for like a week. They cancelled work & clases for two days and it never came.

This **** better not hit me.
Although we usually don't get hit by storms up here. The last one was Irene from last year and even that wasn't
too
bad.
