I can't help but feel that the timing of the announcement is somewhat suspicious as it's only 2 weeks until her Miranda Sings Netflix show launches, but I'm going to go along the lines of coincidence. It makes me really sad though because I really like both of them.

It was her decision to do it when she did... and her being thrown into work can be a good thing for her, to help her not get so depressed about it. a good distraction, really

He didn't say it in a horrible way though, he clearly just still wants to be with her but she thinks they'll be happier apart.

How is this possible. I truly have so much respect for Colleen. I've been following her for years now, and even though I don't watch her videos anymore, I still think that out of all YouTubers, she's one of the very small few who have deserved such rocket success.
I can't imagine going through such a public divorce on YouTube, where your audience is so close. She kept saying she felt badly for disappointing everybody and it just broke my heart.

This. And yes I know they don't want people to "choose sides" but that's not really a possibility at this point. It's been clear from the start that Josh was jealous of her career success. It's sad that they are ending like this, but I'm sure they will both move on to bigger and better things.
