Normally I'd agree with you but for this particular article, your logic is flawed. This week's #1 album sold more than this week's #1 song, this week's #2 album sold almost as much as this week's #2 song, while this week's #8 album sold more than this week's #8 song. At least in the top 10, where it counts the most, things are pretty equal.
