The incident happened just before 11 p.m. ET on Friday when gunfire erupted at The Plaza Live theater, which is one of Orlando's oldest theaters. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots at the end of the performance as the audience left.
Orlando Police confirmed that two people were shot at the venue but provided no information about their conditions or who was shot. According to initial reports, a performer may have been shot along with the shooter, but police have yet to confirm that.
