This ethos has guided her in other ways too. When reports surfaced that 25 would not be immediately available on streaming services such as Spotify or Apple Music, there was criticism from fans and industry insiders. She says she was under pressure from both sides—to stream and not to. (Artists, even mega-stars, make considerably less streaming their music as opposed to selling it.) “I don’t use streaming,” she says. “I buy my music. I download it, and I buy a physical [copy] just to make up for the fact that someone else somewhere isn’t. It’s a bit disposable, streaming.” How much her decision helped boost her sales is tough to quantify. “I know that streaming music is the future, but it’s not the only way to consume music,” she says. She believes “music should be an event.” (25 could yet come to streaming services in 2016.)
Good on her using her money to buy albums of all music she listens to. If I had the money I would too. She actually makes fair points regarding streaming, I can respect her since it's due to her personal taste.
I agree, most people just stream and never buy the physical album itself. Instead they choose to flaunt off their "Spotify premium" in the light of being more modern in the wake of music consumerism.
When labels force Spotify to have all users pay, things will change. It's only a matter of time. Adele is right. I don't feel that new albums should be on free streaming until 6ish months later. Netflix doesn't (always) get movies the day they come out. There needs to be a sliding scale like with movies. New stuff is album purchase, then paid streaming and free can follow after the album has aged.

The more she talks about it, the less people call Taylor greedy, so I'm good with it.
IA. Though I find it kind of telling how literally everyone was against Taylor when she said the exact same thing a few months ago, but as soon as Adele champions the cause, everyone is all "yaass queen I agree streaming is flawed!"
