Lady Gaga will premiere two versions of her "Judas" music video this Thursday (May 5), unveiling an abridged clip on "American Idol" and a 7-minute uncut version on E! News.
The long-form "Judas" video, which was co-directed by the pop star and choreographer Laurieann Gibson, will premiere on E! at 7:00 pm EST, while the second version will air during the top 5 elimination episode of "American Idol." The biblically themed clip stars Gaga as Mary Magdalene and Norman Reedus as Judas Iscariot, and reportedly cost a whopping $10 million to produce.
"There's a decided shock value," Gibson told Billboard about the "Judas" video last month. "Ultimately, it's a story about oppression; a story about following your heart and the glory of being free."

Interscope Records' promotional department revealed on Twitter last week that the "Judas" video would debut on "American Idol." The singing competition previously debuted the clip for judge Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor" this season.
"Judas," the second single off Gaga's forthcoming sophomore album "Born This Way," clocked in at No. 12 on the Hot 100 in its second week on the chart.
