So it would be okay for our parents to call us ***s and use other abusive language towards us because we're going to have a hard life anyways? I don't get it. Why not just be nice and use unoffensive language that doesn't hurt anyone?

I get that Rupaul is old but he needs to get with the times. I'm sure he's been called a "tranny" plenty of times in his life, but he's a drag queen and not trans. It's 2014 and there is an actual community of transgender people fighting for equal rights and representation in our world. Him making lame excuses for his problematic behavior isn't helping anyone.
