The RIAA has announced its latest round of Gold & Platinum sales certifications, and the most notable is a rare Diamond certification for the late rapper Tupac Shakur. His 1996 release All Eyez On Me has been certified as having sold 10 million copies in the U.S., earning the Diamond certification. At the same time, the 2002 collection Better Dayz, was certified 3X Platinum.
Beyonce's self-titled smash hit was certified as 2X Platinum, along with Country act Florida Georgia Line's Here's To The Good Times.
As for Gold & Platinum singles, the aforementioned Florida Georgia Line saw their hit "Cruise" go 8X Platinum,
while Miley Cyrus' 2009 smash "Party In The U.S.A." is now 7X Platinum. Lorde's "Royals" is also 7X Platinum, while "Team" was certified as 3X Platinum. "Naturally" from Selena Gomez & The Scene was certified 4X Platinum in July. Triple-Platinum certifications were awarded to Luke Bryan ("Country Girl (Shake It For Me)"), DJ Snake & Lil Jon ("Turn Down For What") and
Ariana Grande ("The Way").
