GaGa doesn't need to be welcomed back because she hasn't been on a hiatus from pop radio- she's had just two flops.
BtW, although short-lived, did great on pop. I heard TEoG non-stop, & Y&I got decent pop AirPlay iirc.

Why is Gaga being compared along with Beyonce? If you replaced Gaga with Ashanti it would make more sense.

Excellent discussion topic.
I think I would go for the third option. Only by releasing generic dance/club tracks will Bey and Gaga be able to see pop radio success.
