Arith's "Best Of" 2008 | Top 12 Albums
#12. Usher - Here I Stand
Singles:
Love In The Club, Movin' Mountains, Trading Places
Standout Tracks:
Love In The Club, Movin' Mountains, Trading Places, Something Special, His Mistakes, What's Your Name
Opinion: "Here I Stand" was a okay CD. It had a lot of great songs, but not many of them screamed "hit single". "Movin' Mountains was a EPIC fail as a single (even though the song was amazing) and killed the album. Yet, the album was still a good listen.
#11. Danity Kane - Welcome To The Dollhouse
Singles:
Damaged, Bad Girl
Standout Tracks:
Damaged, Bad Girl, Striptease, Lights Out, Poetry, Is Anybody Listening
Opinion:
"Dollhouse" was a good cd from the now-defunct group. Upon my initial listen, I didn't like the group's new, international pop sound, but "Damaged" was a hit, you couldn't deny that. There were many hit-worthy songs on the album, but with the bad promotion of the album and the internal problems of the group, the CD was pretty much a wasted effort. While it was a wasted effort on the group's part, it was still a good listen. Good luck DK3, you'll need it :dead:
#10. Day 26 - Day 26
Singles:
Got Me Going, Since You've Been Gone
Standout Tracks:
Since You've Been Gone, Come In, Got Me Going, Come With Me, Are We In This Together, What It Feels Like
Opinion:
"Day 26" was a solid debut from Didyd's soon to be forgotten group. It wasn't entertaining watching them become a group, but their album was decent. I think that "In My Bed" and "Come With Me" should have been singles, but Diddy is known for not properly promoting his artists. This album had a lot of highlights, and each member (especially Will and Robert) have their moments on the CD to shine.
