shame that legends like madonna and michael are on this list. Katy, Taylor & Rihanna haven't even reach their peak yet. But I think the most overrated is britney and here's why:
. she's not that great of a singer
. a lot of songs from her first 3 albums suck major ass like that "i love rock n roll" cover
. she was an alright performer, she was stiff as hell and save for the production and costumes. Her performances would not only be weak but boring as hell, seeing as she's not that great of a dancer.
Yet ppl praise her prime like she was an amazing talent when the truth is she wasn't. I do think with In The Zone that britney took it to another level, as she was writing songs/playing instruments/and improving as a dancer & performer. And I do think if she hadn't had the mental breakdown, and haven't hooked up with K-Fed she would today be frigging untouchable. And I feel as a whole she would be a way better artist with better songs but I digress.

I say Britney because I thought that she was a huge touring force, but she never even had a 100 million grossing tour until her comeback era. Her first 2 albums are also not that great. A lot of her earlier hits sound like replicas of each other, and her performance, although alluring, weren't as spectacular as I remember. She wasn't bad at all, just not as great as her stans make her out to be.

You better preach that GOSPEL. I don't see a single lie.
