TOP 20 SINGLES OF 2015
Top 20 Singles Of 2015!
1. Calvin Harris & Disciples - How Deep Is Your Love
THIS song was my everything this year.
Couldn’t stop playing it throughout the year, and so did the clubs – it was even played 2-3 times on the same night when I would hit the town.
Amazing track and probably my favorite ever track from Calvin.
Congrats Calvin for taking out my number 1!
2. Adele – “Hello”
Out of nowhere, Adele returned with a BANG.
Hello…. It’s me and that was it – Welcome back Adele!
She really took over and took 2015 out on a high for pop music. Look forward to seeing how the rest of the ‘25’ plays out in 2016.
3. Delta Goodrem – “Wings”
Delta finally got a hit single this year after her last single attempts didn’t turn out as great.
The song is euphoric and Delta can do no wrong.
Can’t wait for her next album!
4. Ellie Goulding – “On My Mind”
Ellie launched her new era this year with this song.
When it was first released I wasn’t sure what to think of the song, but then it really grew on me as it did on the radio airwaves.
Ellie never fails to amaze me. <3
5. Zara Larsson & MNEK - "Never Forget You"
Wow, it really was Zara’s year. After going relatively unnoticed on a global scale, Swedish gal Zara finally became recognized with this amazing track.
With the help of MNEK, the song truly became a hit towards the end of the year.
Let’s hope Zara continues to slay the charts in 2016.
6. Ellie Goulding – “Army”
While this a very recent single, it is also my favorite track from Delirium.
I just love it, it's like a power ballad and sounds very different for Ellie. Her notes near the end are also unlike i've ever heard from her before.. stunning!
7. Demi Lovato – “Confident”
Another appearance from Demi this year.
Loved this song from the moment I heard it... Demi just flows effortlessly and carelessly on the track.
It embodies the new Demi and her attainment of pure confidence. Plus the rock vibe makes you want to rock out with your fake guitar along with flicking your hair errywhere.
8. Shawn Mendes – “Stitches”
This song just crept up on me all of a sudden when approaching the end of the year.
While at work this would come up in the office and would get me bopping along which led to it being added to my iTunes library which I have played on repeat ever since…
9. Selena Gomez ft. A$AP ROCKY – “Good For You”
Selena slayed this year with the 'Revival' era.
Love the carefree and sensual vibe of it all, and "Good For You" embodies it all as Selena carelessly oozes sensuality.
A$AP ROCKY also really compliments the track, the solo version isn't as great...
Continue amazing us Selena!
10. JoJo – “Save My Soul”
JoJo returned this year with a bang when releasing not one, but three singles – aka “Tringle.”
Off the EP (which is amazing), the stand-out for me is “Save My Soul.”
Hurry up and release the video tho.
11. Rihanna - "Bitch Better Have My Money"
While we didn't get R8 (well not yet), Rihanna did drop a few tracks this year and the stand-out of all the new singles would definitely be "Bitch Better Have My Money."
Clubs around ate it up and played numerous remixes of the dark and truly urban fun jam for Rih Rih.
It just oozes badass, in which Rihanna does perfectly.
12. Justin Bieber – “Sorry”
Justin Bieber slayed 2015!
"Sorry" is just one of many singles he released this year that turned non-Beliebers into Beliebers.
This jam was played non-stop at work and became a true 2015 party anthem.
13. Troye Sivan – "Wild"
Troye crept along randomly after hearing all the goss around his break-through music videos.
"Wild" instantly became a 2015 favourite for me as it is just one spanking catchy pop tune. His album also slays! Plus his another fellow Aussieeee.
14. Adam Lambert – “Ghost Town”
This is the second song from Lambert appearing in my countdown. From a casual fan to a full stan it was this year... the new album is just amaze!
I love the grungy and dark tone of this song, a dark club jam which had me dancing in clubs around town and at home. LOVE!
15. Carly Rae Jepsen – “Run Away With Me”
The hit that never was ☹.
Loved this song from the moment I heard it on her album, EMOTION.
Such a catchy tune which combines both the nostalgic and modern. I just wish radio gave it more of a chance as it truly slays.
16. Duke Dumont – “Ocean Drive”
What a jam!
A friend introduced this to me while driving home and fell in love. It makes you feel all summer-ish and wanting to chill with your friends outdoor with a nice cold drink.
A must hear if you haven’t heard it already.
17. Demi Lovato – “Cool For The Summer”
Woah, Demi!
Demi Lovato did quite the image revamp this year, channeling her inner confidence and sex appeal.
"Cool For The Summer" was the surprise mid-year hit, even clubs were spinning this track in the form of remixes.
18. Jessica Mauboy – “This Ain't Love”
Aussie Idol winner continued to slay in 2015 with a catchy new single.
“This Ain’t Love” was blasted in my car around town and kept me going throughout the workdays.
Slay Jess!
19. Adam Lambert – “Another Lonely Night”
Why didn't this song smash? It slays!
Had this song on repeat throughout 2015 and is one of my faves from 'The Original High."
20. Ariana Grande – “Focus”
Ariana slays but “Focus” was kind of a letdown. With all the massive build up I was expecting another “Break Free” smasher (who actually won my top single of 2014), except we got this… I love the video but the song is just average. This song made the countdown as Ariana is still one of my faves.
HONRABLE MENTIONS: Fight Song, What Do You Mean, Touch, Perfect, Bad Blood, Drag Me Down, King & Body Talk.
COUNTDOWN 2 - CONCERTS
Top 3 Concerts Of 2015!
1. Taylor Swift - 1989 World Tour
Taylor Swift really delivered with the 1989 era, and her tour was no exception.
Only Taylor can fill a stadium with over 67,000 people in Sydney. Everything was amazing - from the light wristbands to stunning performances.. plus she delivers some great speeches throughout the show (especially the intro to Clean - which has some stunning visuals to match)
I also got to see her in Australia in my hometown of Sydney and also travelled to Melbourne to see her again (my friend is that obsessed with her.)
She deserves my No.1 concert for 2016
2. The Veronicas – Sanctified Tour
The Veronicas made a comeback in 2015 with their first tour. It also marked the first time I saw them live too!
It was everything, my childhood was back. I also loved that they did a video at the beginning of the night to sum up the memories and their careers so far.
Highlights of 2015 for me.
3. Ellie Goulding – Final Halycon Tour (Sydney Gig)
Finally got to see Ellie live in 2015 and she was more amazing than I thought.
She did a final/mixed gig in Sydney to mark the end of Halcyon and the beginning of Delirium. Performing hits from the old era with performances of mixes with Calvin and even played "On My Mind."
Loved that it was intimate and she is one talented gal.
COUNTDOWN 3 = MUSIC VIDEOS
Top 5 Music Video!

This video is just so stunning that it became my favourite video for 2015.
I also really admire the song as a whole and was a random surprise from Beyoncé.
2. Taylor Swift – “Bad Blood”
- Jam packed with celeb cameos and a stylish spy action movie, Taylor really went all out with this video.
Had this song on repeat throughout 2015 and is one of my faves from 'The Original High."
