Shazam Discussion Thread | US: Love Yourself #1, 21P #2
Some people have suggested to me in the past that we track Shazam charts more closely. After some thinking, I have to say that I agree.
What Is Shazam?

Many people I know use the app (or similar apps) to identify songs they don't know on the radio or at a party. It's a very useful app, and I have used it in the past as well.
Shazam produces top 100 charts for the most Shazamed songs in many different countries, including the US & UK. There is also a WW chart.
Although I won't have time to post the top 100 chart each day, I've still created this thread as a place to discuss the Shazam charts.
So basically the music people want to learn the name of?
Correct. It's for situations where a song is playing (in a store, on the radio, at a party, etc.) and you don't know the song but you like it and want to know what it's called.
It's a good metric for determining which relatively unknown songs are being noticed and liked by the GP.
