News: Trump does not want to live in the White House

Trump made a notable effort to stay in Trump Tower throughout the campaign, often flying several hours at night just so he could wake up in his own bed. Now, Trump's advisers say that he's "coming to grips" with upcoming major life changes after being "shocked" when he won the election. They hope that he will stay in the White House more often once he becomes used to the transition, but for now, he's pretty much gonna avoid it, much like he'll probably avoid the not-so-glamorous responsibilities of actually being president.

Additionally, the Times reports that Trump wants to hold on to the familiars of his campaign—namely, having big rallies where people can shout his name and make him feel all fuzzy. Why? Because he "likes the instant gratification and adulation that the cheering crowds provide."

Uh uh. They should require him to spend a certain amount of time there. This hasn't been an issue for previous presidents because they actually wanted to serve like presidents do.

NYT being the worse one serving US weekly "sources" tea but you all WANT to believe this as true.

the reality is that he's not accepting a dime rejecting that salary because he actually wants to serve and as a business man spending plenty of time in NY with a young son in an elite private school in NY (that took alot of effort to get admitted into) both President elect trump and his wife want to spend as much time in NY and for good reason.

The good news is that the trip to and from NY/DC is not that long.

He's not doing this to live in the White house and he rejected that salary for that very reason.

However, the point is that he has deep roots in NY and I understand why he and his wife don't want to spend that much time in the White house...

I had a feeling it would serve weekend mom teas being mainly in NY with occasional trips to DC and that's fine

This is a Pence presidency as I predicted
