After reading comment sections dealing with the whole Azealia Banks/Angel Haze/Pigrez drama,I immediately asked myself "Are some gays being too sensitive??
For example when I went on JoeMyGod (gay blog) they were calling Banks all sorts of homophobic and they said she promoted the use of the word ****** we hen in reality,much of Azealia's own fan base consists of mostly GAY MALES
Another thing is the claim that every female who markets to the LGBT community is using "marketed bisexuality" or is "only using the gay community for fame".While the notion isn't completely untrue,can the gay community stop being offended every time a female star says something about the gay community?
IDK.I might have not given good examples in this but don't act like this problem doesn't exist,and some gays don't get offended easily.
No oppressed group is being too sensitive until they are no longer oppressed.
And since that isn't the case right now, and homosexuals are oppressed all over the place, they have every right to be offended or hurt even when someone makes a bad comment. Although Azaelia could be the biggest friend to the gay community, by publicly doing it on twitter she makes it seem okay to use the term, and unknowing, or prejudiced people would then do the same. So she's really just furthering the oppression.

No. She used a degrading term out of anger. If Perez wasn't gay i doubt she would've even used that word but the fact that she did and knowing he was gay makes it wrong. Especially her ignorant definition of it. Like how are you gonna sample Paris Is Burning but then degrade those very men. The fact that some of you are even trying to justify it by saying it's okay, like it's the "norm" is not helping our community at all. Well shoot, you'd be a little sensitive too if you constantly had to fight for your rights, overcome discrimination, possibly get beaten or even killed depending on what country you live in, or even disowned by your family, and then deal with some rapper on twitter using derogatory slurs? Yeah, I'd be mad as hell.
