I mean, let's be honest. No one is perfect, and nobody can make perfect albums throughout their whole career.

But let's talk about legends. Pop legend, indie legends, rock legends, whatever type.

It seems like almost all of them have at least one weak album. And the ones that don't have less then 5-6 albums.


So is there any legendary artist with a flawless (or close to) discography? Or are all of them cursed with MDNAs, Invincibles, Pablo Honeys, and Voltas.

Start naming names you think are good enough.

I haven't heard all of Prince's albums, but the 6 I have heard are all flawless.

Yeah, I don't think classical legends would count in this.

He has tons of duds. Trust me.

But his highs are so high.

He has his weak albums, His 80s catalogue (and early 90s) is incredible though.

Yes. Granted some are weaker than others but all 12 are classic. You can't leave any out.

Sgt. Pepper & Abbey Road are my two personal faves.

i think Fiona Apple because her weakest album is still great in my opinion
btw Volta isnt that bad like Bjork's fans make it out to be, i find Biophillia worse

I've not listened to ALL his songs, but from the songs i've heard he sounds pretty consistent across the board.
