Since I voted in the NI Assembly elections today, I was wondering why do some parties not have a stance on abortions (Northern Ireland has a very restrictive abortion policy, abortion in Northern Ireland is only permitted if a woman's life is at risk or there is a permanent or serious risk to her mental or physical health), so I'm wondering, do you think a woman should have an abortion if her life is in danger or should she not even bother and just die (if it turns out that the baby could end up killing the woman)? This sounds awful but it's the way I writing it that sounds awful.
I'm pro-choice by the way and I believe that is the woman's choice whether she should terminate her pregnancy by having an abortion under all circumstances especially if it is an unwanted pregnancy or carrying the baby to full term and letting it be adopted (if it is an unwanted pregnancy). I know this is a VERY controversial subject, so please keep it clean if you can and also what is your stance on abortion? Pro-choice or pro-life?
i think there should be absolutely no restrictions if the woman's life is in danger. that's a priority.
if not, then i don't think abortions should be done like getting a haircut, but in the end i think the woman does have the right, especially in cases where the baby would just end up in adoption. a lot of pro life people don't realize that the adoption system is really terrible in a lot of places and that this baby is not going to have a happy life there in the vast majority of cases.
Pro choice. F*ck pro life people who try to control a woman's body and take away her choice. No born person has the right to sustain itself using another's body without ongoing consent same for the fetus. Especially in cases of rape and danger to the mothers life but really its no one's business why a woman chooses abortion. Its inside of her body, its her right to choose. F*ck Northern Ireland too.
