TV time for Twitter

Twitter, the popular website which asks about what everybody is doing, has stated that it wants to begin it's own TV series.
Teaming up with Reveille Productions and Brillstein Entertainment to develop an unscripted TV series, based primariily on the social networking and micro-blogging site.
Twitter, used by the likes of Madonna, Hilary Duff, and many other A-list stars, has become so popular that it has experienced overload in the recent months.
The potential TV show would put players on the trail of celebrities in a competitive format.
Producers indicated that the show would be a pioneer in bringing the immediacy of Twitter to television, and demonstrate this characteristic.
The website, based in San Francisco, has exploded in popularity since it's inception in 2007.
Millions of users follow, in real time, the day to day activities of celebrities, activisits, politicians, presidents and even robot personalities - not to mention pets.
Reveille Productions has backed popular comedies such as The Office, and The Sopranos, and other reality TV series' such as Gladiators.
Potential broadcast partners have not been disclosed as yet.
Critics have claimed that the website Twitter is the breeding grounds for behavior tantamount to stalking, however positives have been noted.
Such a medium can be used to inspire the masses when they find celebrities are ordinary human beings, and have somewhat normal lives(at times), as well as with regard to worthy causes.
