Take Ü There (feat. Kiesza) by Jack Ü
This song is a joint effort from Diplo and Skrillex and with the help of Kiesza they create this insane song that has a trap-reggae feel to it. Kiesza’s vocals just help elevate the song “
You’ve got more love to give babe, oooh babe, ooh babe” and the beatdrop is incredible.
Right Now by Mary J. Blige
For the lead single from her new album, Blige teamed up with the talented Disclosure and Sam Smith to create this brilliant house track. The beat and Blige’s voice is a match made in heaven and I’m so glad that she decided to go with this genre of music.
Don’t (Rick Ross Remix) by Ed Sheeran
I have a love/hate relationship with Ed Sheeran, some days I love his music, the next I despise it. But ‘Don’t’ is actually one of my favourite songs by Ed ever and the Rick Ross remix adds something else to it (maybe it’s the fact the song is actually explicit) and Ross’ verse is surprisingly good. The chorus is also one of my favourite from this year- it’s really fun just singing along to “don’t **** with my love”.
Crazy Stupid Love (feat. Tinie Tempah) by Cheryl Cole
This song is my biggest guilty pleasure ever, I hated this song when it first came out but then I just loved it suddenly after hearing it in a club. So what, the lyrics might be cheesy but for me that’s what makes the song so good- you just can’t help but sing along to it.
Go All Night (feat. Jennifer Hudson) by Gorgon City
Gorgon City are electronic group from London who released their debut album this year, one of the highlights from the album is the current single which features Jennifer Hudson. The song is addictive, from the opening strings to the incredible beat. A must listen.
